Mayo Clinic Again Ranked Best AZ Hospital

14 Straight Years Ranked No. 1

U.S. News & World Report named Mayo Clinic-Arizona in Phoenix Arizona’s No. 1 hospital for the 14th consecutive year. The medical center also earned a spot on the publication’s national Honor Roll for the 10th straight year, ranking No. 9 among the nation’s top 20 hospitals. U.S. News based the rankings on quality of care, patient safety, and patient experience. This year’s rankings also marked the first time Mayo Clinic placed three hospitals—Rochester, Jacksonville, and Phoenix—on the national top 20 list, with no other health system placing more than one hospital in the top 20.

Tempe-based Dutch Bros Coffee plans to acquire 51 former Salad and Go locations after the fast-casual chain filed for bankruptcy, with the ongoing cyclosporiasis outbreak contributing to its collapse. Salad and Go filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Monday and announced it will permanently close all of its locations, serving its final meals Wednesday. The Gilbert-founded drive-thru restaurant chain submitted voluntary bankruptcy petitions in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston. The company said declining consumer demand, rapid expansion challenges, and rising operating costs made its business unsustainable.
