Korean Barbecue Sandwiches
Let’s Toast has opened its first permanent location at Uptown Plaza in Phoenix. Owners Sumin Kim and Sean Atkinson transformed the popular Uptown Farmers Market favorite into a full-time storefront, crafting Korean BBQ sandwiches to a larger audience. The new restaurant sits at the northeast corner of Central Avenue and Camelback Road, in one of Phoenix’s busiest retail destinations.
Several months ago I told you it was coming, and now it’s here. Let’s Toast has opened its first brick-and-mortar store at Uptown Plaza in Phoenix.
The husband-and-wife team of Sumin Kim and Sean Atkinson have graduated from one of the Uptown Farmers Market’s most beloved Saturday fixtures to a full-time storefront.
It’s located on the northeast corner of Central and Camelback, right across from Horse & Hyde.
The star of the menu remains the Bulgogi Cheesesteak (pictured): marinated ribeye, gooey mozzarella, a fried egg, and house-made sauces on buttered Japanese milk bread.
New additions include a cinnamon butter toast dessert item, with more sweets planned to complement the savory lineup.
Open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Expect a line, but it’s worth the wait.
