ACA Program Drives Development

Arizona Tech Week launches April 6–12. The event will draw thousands to celebrate Arizona’s tech leadership. It includes more than 400 partner-led events statewide. Attendees can join hands-on workshops, founder meetups, panel talks, tech demos, startup pitches, experiential activations, and more. Attendees can browse and filter the Arizona Tech Week Calendar to plan their schedules, as events unite innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders showcasing Arizona’s global innovation leadership.

PHOENIX, AZ (April 6, 2026) – As the inaugural Arizona Tech Week kicks off today through April 12, the state is set to draw thousands of attendees to celebrate Arizona’s technology leadership.

A first-of-its-kind statewide decentralized event and powered by the Arizona Commerce Authority, Arizona Tech Week features more than 400 partner-hosted events statewide – from hands-on workshops and founder meetups to panel discussions, tech demos, startup pitches, experiential events and much more.

“We’re proud to kick off Arizona Tech Week and showcase our state’s rising tech leadership,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “From AI and advanced manufacturing to aerospace, batteries, and beyond, the future is being built right here in Arizona. This week celebrates the bold innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech leaders powering our momentum and cementing Arizona as a premier hub for next-generation innovation and startup growth.”

To help streamline the experience for event organizers, the ACA is leveraging Partiful, a third-party software that offers event hosts a standardized RSVP management system, free of charge. The tool enables each event host to track, manage, and communicate with event attendees.

“Arizona Tech Week is the first major non-coastal tech week to use Partiful as its core events platform, and the results speak for themselves,” said Luis Ocampo, Head of Community with Partiful. “400+ events across an entire state in year one is unprecedented for an inaugural tech week, and we’re proud to have helped make that possible.”

Attendees can explore the Arizona Tech Week calendar and sort events by date, location, and interest to plan their week. Events hosted as part of Arizona Tech Week will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, startup leaders, and tech luminaries, showcasing Arizona’s leadership as a global innovation hub.

Cyclic Materials opened its first commercial-scale rare earth magnet recycling facility in @cityofmesa, strengthening the domestic supply of rare earth elements and critical minerals. The company invested more than $30 million in the 144,000-square-foot facility, which will initially create more than 25 jobs. The plant can process up to 25,000 metric tons of end-of-life products containing magnets each year. Cyclic Materials will recover rare earth magnet concentrate through its Mag-Xtract™ process, along with critical materials such as copper, aluminum and steel.
