A new Costco Business Center location is moving forward in Chandler following a recent groundbreaking. The 141,000-square-foot membership warehouse will be built on an 18-acre site at the southwest corner of Alma School and Pecos Road, near the Loop 202. Earlier this year, the City of Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission approved the required rezoning and preliminary site plan. The requests were recommended through the Commission’s consent agenda, clearing the way for development.

This Chandler location will differ from a traditional Costco warehouse. Costco Business Centers are more functional and have less amenities than traditional warehouses. They offer an expanded selection of office supplies, bulk commercial-grade food items, and products tailored to workplace and commercial needs, along with earlier hours (7 am), and no food courts or pharmacies.

Costco is a membership-only chain of wholesale stores. It sells brand-name and private-label products, including Kirkland Signature, in bulk at low prices.
