$60 Million Capital Investment

KoMiCo marked the opening of its new semiconductor equipment cleaning, coating, and repair facility in Mesa. KoMiCo is a subsidiary of the MiCo group and a global leader in precision cleaning and advanced coatings. The company expects the facility to create 50 jobs initially, with more than 200 jobs planned in the years ahead.

The ribbon cutting brought together KoMiCo executives with local government, economic development, business, and community leaders, including Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman and representatives from the Arizona Commerce Authority.

The 125,000-square-foot facility includes multiple cleanrooms, advanced processing equipment, and comprehensive diagnostic tools. The $60 million investment represents KoMiCo’s third location in the United States and its 10th facility worldwide.

MESA, AZ (January 12, 2026) – KoMiCo, a global leader in precision cleaning and advanced coatings in the semiconductor industry, today celebrated the opening of its new state-of-the-art facility for advanced semiconductor equipment parts cleaning, coating, and repair in Mesa, Arizona. The facility will initially create 50 jobs, with over 200 total new jobs created over the next several years.

KoMiCo America and Global executives were joined by local government, economic development, business and community leaders, and KoMiCo customers to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new facility including City of Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman and the Arizona Commerce Authority.

The 125,000-square-foot facility includes multiple cleanrooms, a wide range of cutting edge equipment, and a robust suite of diagnostic tools. Representing an over $60 million capital investment, the Mesa facility marks KoMiCo’s third location in the U.S. and 10th location globally.

KoMiCo leads the industry with a dedicated R&D division and innovation driven by partnerships with their customers. This facility will be outfitted to provide services to current fabs and the fabs of the future, including EUV and <1nm tech nodes.

KoMiCo is a subsidiary of the MiCo group joined by MiCo Ceramics, MiCo Power, MiCo BioMed, and MiCo Ltd.  MiCo Ltd also supports the semiconductor industry with raw material development, including special powders used in the coating process. In addition, MiCo Ceramics specializes in the manufacture of ceramic heaters and electrostatic chucks (ESC’s).
